Project Truth Public Inquiry
There's going to be a public inquiry taking place soon in the city of Cornwall, Ontario.
It is being spearheaded by the honorable Dalton McGuinty {Ontario Premier}.
The inquiry is to focus their investigation into the reasons why; the police took so long to press charges and why, virtually none of them led to a conviction.
On Dec 24th, 2004, we sent correspondence, to the office of the Premier, addressed to Mr. Dalton McGuinty. In that disclosure is evidence which clearly shows beyond any reasonable doubt the reasons why there were virtually no convictions in 'Project Truth'. Also in that disclosure is what the inquiry is focusing their investigation on. It shows corruption within the high profile local officials and attempted police cover-up. Again, beyond any reasonable doubt.
Because that disclosure gives concrete evidence as to what has just been said, we trust that you will understand when we say we are worried that the local officials, will try any means possible to suppress what has been submitted to the inquiry.
According to Purolator that disclosure has been delivered to the main desk of the legislative building, and signed by Helen.
Other than that, there is no record that any evidence has even been submitted. In other words, we have yet to hear from the Premier's office.
We're sure that Mr. Dalton McGuinty, and local MPP Jim Brownell have very good intentions and that their hearts are in the right place, but we have a feeling that the community wants this inquiry. So that they may destroy any evidence that's still out there. The same way those tapes, which clearly implicated some of the high profile, local officials were destroyed. After, they were placed in the hands, of the local authorities.
That's why the originals are in a safe place and after the completion of this inquiry copies of what was submitted to the premier are going to submerge and be given to the proper people, if necessary. Even if some unfortunate incident should prevent me from that task. Copies will still emerge; by family, friends, and people who care about the injustice that has happened to me, and the people of 'PROJECT TRUTH'.
We're praying that, the more people who knows. Evidence has been submitted to the Premier, the harder that evidenced will be to suppress. If you knew the names, and people, this evidence implicates. You would have a clearer understanding, and therefore would know the reasons why, we are so agonize.
It would be an enormous help if the public knew, that according to us, evidence has been submitted to the Premier, which according to some people, clearly shows; the reasons why the police took so long to press charges and why, virtually none of them led to a conviction, during the investigation of PROJECT TRUTH.
It may seem strange, that we are going outside our province, to ask for help. That's because, if the problem is injustice or corruption. If it's not within that person's jurisdiction, nothing will be done to help stop the corruption,or correct the injustice. Therefore, if you live in a smaller city, no one outside that city will care and if the local high profile officials, are involved in the corruption. There is absolutely no way of stopping it. That is the very reason why the injustice of PROJECT TRUTH, went on for decades, and why it still continues to this day. The disclosure which was submitted to the inquiry, gives concrete evidence to that.
If there is any advice you could offer us, to help insure none of that evidence gets suppressed. We would greatly appreciate it. Thank you
